Mokrito is a contemporary venue that merges the elegance of a traditional restaurant with the efficiency of a fast-food concept, delivering quick service without compromising on the quality of ingredients. Located in front of the Fonte Aretusa, in the heart of Ortigia, Syracuse, it benefits from a unique and prestigious location.
Our approach focused on creating visual and functional continuity between Mokrito and the surrounding spaces, enhancing operational areas while refining the aesthetic without disrupting the original identity.
Working alongside Sebastiano Motta and engineer Claudia Faraci, we developed detailed renderings and curated material selections in collaboration with Omet, Legnami Guastella, and Artemetal. A high-performance extraction system, featuring balanced airflow, climate-controlled air, and UV-C + ozone filtration, ensures optimal comfort and air quality.
We oversaw the entire project, from the removal of existing equipment to the installation of new systems, delivering tailored solutions that elevate the venue’s identity, in partnership with Impiantistica Caia, SMS Costruzioni srls, and Strano Infissi.
The result is a refined and distinctive space, where tradition and innovation coexist seamlessly.
